About Covid 19 and Massage Therapy

What you can expect from me:

What you can expect from me:

I practice massage with extreme caution in this time of Covid 19.

There is an additional health intake form for each appointment which you will receive by email, and I will take your temperature before you enter the building. I take mine three times a day to be as sure as I can be that I am as healthy as I think I am.

I have lengthened the time between clients in order to be able to do a complete cleaning of the space, and of me. The new workspace has been created to be safe and easy to disinfect - smooth floors, waterproof paint on the walls, and lots of new windows for good ventilation. The toilet is an incinerating one, so there is no chance of the virus being tossed up in the air by the flush.

When I greet you, I will have a mask and a face shield, freshly scrubbed hands, and clean clothing. Please read my first two posts “From Carol” at the top of the home page - I greet you with love and respect.

Receiving massage in the new normal times: What I hope from you

Please wait in your car - if you turn it around, you can appreciate the view. If you wish to sit outside, there is a lovely bench on the corner of the lawn you are welcome to enjoy. I will come and get you when the room is ready.

Please complete and sign the new additional intake form. I am transitioning to an online form system, and I will alert you when that is up and running.

Payment: I am attempting to lower our exposure to each other wherever I can - if you wish to pay via Paypal before you arrive, my paypal address is greathands@vermontel. net. I can send you an invoice thru them when you book your appointment- just let me know. If you wish to pay by check, please make it out before you enter the building… one of the pieces of furniture that did not make the Covid cleaning cut is a writing surface.

You must wear a mask into the building and for your massage. I have found some great tricks to keep that comfortable for you. Covid testing is not as clear as we all wish it was. 30% of the swab tests are false negative, and at least the same percentage of the folks who have tested positive have no symptoms, either because they are never going to have them, or haven’t gotten sick yet. They can still shed virus with their breath.
